Control Room

Behavox Atlas — Control Room

The control room that closes the loop between business, compliance decisions, and regulatory evidence.

01

Connected by design

Business, compliance, and audit surfaces run on one integrated operating layer — CRM, HR, restrictions, approvals, and evidence in one workflow.

02

One unified record

Deal registration, insider lists, restrictions, and approvals on one platform, one audit trail.

03

Evidence, always ready

A regulator-ready MAR Article 18 package assembled from the live record — not rebuilt overnight before an inspection.

The problem

Every regulated enterprise runs a control room. The question is not whether to have one — it is whether yours moves at the speed of the business.

Any organization whose people hold price-sensitive information — a bank, an energy trading desk, or a corporate with active M&A — must manage who has access, pre-clear related activity, and document every barrier-crossing event.

A control room that lags the trading desk limits which deals you can pursue, which geographies you can operate in, and what mandates institutional clients will award you. Under SEC Rule 10b-5 and FCA SM&CR, the CCO carries personal accountability for the MNPI program — and when restrictions arrive late, notifications go undocumented, or audit trails have gaps, the exposure lands on the officer, not just the firm.

Why it matters

More revenue capacity. Keep deal teams, research, and trading moving without control-room friction slowing mandates, execution, or market-facing activity.

Scalable expansion. New jurisdictions, entities, subsidiaries, and business lines onboarded without rebuilding the control framework every time the firm grows — the control-room discipline the largest banks run, right-sized for any firm scaling into that operating tier.

Stronger defensibility. A clear, evidence-backed record of every decision and control — so leadership stands behind the programme when regulators, auditors, boards, or clients ask.

Lower hidden control risk. Keep restrictions, insider records, approvals, and control flows aligned with live activity — so stale controls, silent downstream failures, and disconnected systems do not become avoidable exposure.

What it does

Connected

Business and controls run as one workflow.

Case, approvals, evidence, deal documents, and the audit trail live on one record — not scattered across six systems.

Current

The control state doesn't drift.

Insider lists reconcile against HR. Wall crossings self-generate on department changes. Restrictions, blackouts, and information barriers are timestamped, versioned, and re-checked on every change.

Defensible

The evidence is already assembled.

Built-in reporting templates — for example, a complete MAR Article 18 export in 2 minutes. Restriction changes are 4-eyes-approved and actor-attributed. Decisions, evidence, and deal documents stay on one compliance record — this quarter, or three years from now.

When Behavox Quantum, Polaris, and Compass are running, communications, trade activity, and personal-conflict signals surface directly against the deal, wall-crossing, or restriction they touch. Atlas runs standalone; on the Behavox platform it operates as one system end-to-end.

The integration layer

Deal registration lives in the CRM. Insider records sit in HR. Restrictions have to reach the trading floor, personal-account dealing, and communications surveillance. Evidence has to be searchable years later. Historically these systems only meet when someone assembles them by hand — usually for an exam.

Atlas is designed as the integration layer that brings them onto one operating record — so the business decision, the compliance decision, and the audit trail move together, not in sequence.

The Quantum + Polaris + Compass + Atlas suite in motion. When a banker is placed on an insider list in Atlas, Polaris tightens personal-trade scrutiny, Quantum monitors their communications for signals that material information is moving beyond the list, and Compass carries the personal-conflict context into every case. Restrictions and their evidence stay on one record — this quarter, or three years from now.

What you get

  • Front-office friction removed: compliance answers arrive in Slack or Microsoft Teams; deal registration flows in through the CRM in under 5 minutes.
  • Real-time control enforcement: restrictions, watchlists, and approvals flow reliably across trading, communications, and PAD — so controls are in force where the business operates, not just recorded in the control room.
  • Regulator-ready evidence in minutes: MAR Article 18 insider lists, deal changelogs, and approval trails ready without manual reconstruction — a complete evidence package generated in under 2 minutes.
  • Insider lists that keep themselves current: HR changes automatically surface potential drift; department moves auto-generate wall-crossing records. The list is never quietly wrong.
  • 4-eyes and audit trail by design: every restriction change is maker-checker-enforced; every approval and every AI decision is timestamped and actor-attributed.

Coverage

  • Deal management with a configurable MNPI lifecycle
  • List management — watch, tracking, restricted, and custom list types
  • Restriction management — by issuer or instrument, with blackout periods, maker-checker, and full activity log
  • MAR reporting — Article 18 insider lists, PDMR / MAR filings, T+3 deadlines
  • Upstream integrations — Salesforce (or your CRM), counterparty databases, real-time market data, LEI (GLEIF) — instrument and issuer data always current
  • Downstream integrations — trading & OMS, research management systems, communications (Slack, Microsoft Teams, email), Behavox Intelligent Archive, regulator channels
  • Institutional conflicts detection — deals scan through the shared engine against Behavox Compass, catching institutional conflicts before they become exceptions

Where AI helps

  • Employees get answers in seconds. Teams can ask "Is this restricted?" or "Can I publish on this issuer today?" and get a direct answer drawn from live control-room data — without calling compliance.
  • Evidence on demand. Compliance can generate regulator-ready evidence packages from a natural-language query — replacing manual assembly across systems.
  • Faster intake, approvals, and search. AI pre-populates deal records, summarises deal changes, and surfaces overdue acknowledgements, open approvals, and other priorities in seconds.

Behavox Atlas is not a better control room. It's the control room that closes the loop — between the restriction decision, the trade floor, the declaration record, and the regulatory evidence file.
