Privacy Policy

Behavox’s full corporate Privacy Policy is being finalised. In the meantime, this notice explains how we process data on this website — in particular our first-party analytics — so you can make an informed consent choice. For the specific cookies and identifiers involved, see our Cookie Policy.

First-party website analytics

With your analytics consent, we collect pseudonymous behavioural events about how this site is used — for example page views, scroll depth, engaged dwell time, in-page navigation, outbound clicks, file downloads, site searches, product interest signals, and demo-funnel steps. Collection is first-party: events are sent to our own same-origin endpoint, not to a third-party advertising network, and we do not run client-side Google Analytics on this site.

To distinguish visits and returning browsers we use a durable, server-minted pseudonymous visitor id (bx_vid) and a per-visit session id. We derive a coarse, non-reversible network fingerprint (a daily-salted, truncated form of your IP address) only as a fallback signal; we do not store your raw IP address in analytics records. We record an approximate country and a device class (e.g. mobile/desktop). We never log the verbatim text of search queries or assistant questions — only counts and lengths.

Without analytics consent, no visitor id is set, no events are stored, and the analytics code does nothing. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner’s “Manage” control, which also deletes the identifiers described above.

Analytics data warehouse (planned)

We are building an internal behavioural analytics warehouse (Google BigQuery). When enabled, the pseudonymous events above will be consolidated there to produce aggregate reporting and, on a consented basis, behavioural models that help us understand which content and products are most relevant to our audiences. This warehouse is not yet active; until it is, events are processed only for immediate first-party measurement. We will update this notice before any such processing begins, and processing will remain bounded by the consent categories you choose.

Identity stitching and profiling (marketing consent)

If you additionally grant marketing consent, we may link the activity associated with your pseudonymous visitor id across visits and devices into a single profile (“identity stitching”), and — where you later identify yourself, for example by submitting a demo request — associate prior pseudonymous activity with that contact (retroactive de-anonymisation). We may use this profile for profiling: scoring content and product interest to tailor follow-up and marketing. None of this profiling, stitching, or de-anonymisation occurs under analytics consent alone.

Cross-product correlation and account roll-up

Behavox operates several products and marketing properties. With marketing consent, when you arrive from another Behavox product or property carrying a signed Behavox identity reference, we may correlate your engagement here with your engagement there so that, at the account level, we can understand who engaged, over what timeframe, and at what depth across our portfolio. We may roll these individual profiles up to the organisation/account level for relationship and sales context. The cross-product identity reference is verified (signed) and is recorded only with marketing consent; under analytics consent alone it is ignored.

Embedded forms

Our demo request form is provided by HubSpot and loads only after you grant marketing consent. Before then, the page offers a plain email contact alternative. Information you submit through the form is processed to respond to your request and, subject to your choices, for the marketing purposes described above.

Your choices and contacting us

You control analytics and marketing processing through the cookie banner at any time. To exercise data-protection rights or for any privacy enquiry, please contact us and we will respond directly. A complete corporate Privacy Policy, including legal bases, retention periods, international transfers, and your statutory rights, will be published here.
