Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage Behavox uses, and how you control them. We use only first-party storage: a record of your consent choice and, once you allow analytics, two pseudonymous identifiers that power our own first-party measurement. We do not load advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site, and we do not use client-side Google Analytics (gtag.js).

Cookies and identifiers we use

NameTypePurposeDurationProcessorCategory
behavox.cookie-consentlocalStorageStores your consent choice per category (analytics / marketing) and the consent version, so we can honour it and re-ask only when the policy changes. Read on every page to decide whether analytics may run.Until cleared (persistent until you change or reset it)Behavox (first-party)Essential
bx_vidHTTP cookieDurable, server-minted pseudonymous visitor id used to recognise a returning browser and de-duplicate first-party analytics events. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax — not readable by JavaScript and never used for advertising. Set only AFTER analytics consent is granted; removed if you decline.13 months (rolling; refreshed on return)Behavox (first-party)Analytics
bx_sid (session id)HTTP cookieShort-lived id that groups events from a single visit so we can measure a session (entries, page sequence, dwell) without persistent tracking. Set only AFTER analytics consent.Session — expires ~30 minutes after the last activityBehavox (first-party)Analytics

Consent categories

We ask for consent per category. Essential storage (your consent choice) is always set because the site cannot remember your preference otherwise. Analytics cookies (bx_vid, bx_sid) are set only after you accept analytics. A separate Marketing category governs identity stitching and our embedded HubSpot demo form; with only analytics consent, no marketing processing or cross-product correlation takes place.

Managing your choices

Use the cookie banner’s “Manage” option to change your analytics and marketing choices at any time. Declining (or withdrawing) analytics consent removes the bx_vid and bx_sid cookies and stops all event collection. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. For how we use the data these identifiers produce, see our Privacy Policy.
